How to Prepare for the Exams, Confidently

Though every student aspires to pass with flying colors in exams, not all can do that. However, there is nothing wrong in this. Every individual is different and so, her/his ability to understand the subject and then writing what s/he has understood differs. Scoring well in exams depends on lots of other factors too, like find the best tutor for exam preparation, your hard work and your merit. But is there any surefire way to prepare for the exams? Yes, there is.

Setting A Good Time Table

Rather than just studying randomly, set a timetable and study according to that. The timetable should be such that all your study material should be covered. You should also decide how much you will study per day. Various subjects should be studied with different priorities. E.g. if you are weak in a particular subject, you should give more hours to it than to the subjects in which you are strong. You should also keep a comfortable interval between two subjects.

Fight with the Exam Fear

If you are an exam-fearing type of student and want to overcome the fear, train your mind. You should always think that if I fail in this exam or score less, nobody is going to hang me; so, why am I so scared? This is a small exam. I will have to face more difficult exams and challenges in the future than this. If I get afraid of this exam, how will I face them?

Another useful thought is to remember the fact that a stressed mind can NEVER think logically. This means if you are scared and stressed, the subject which you normally would have understood well, won’t be grasped well by your brain, just because it is stressed. Keep counseling yourself, “why I am taking so much of stress? Is there any benefit of this? Are my difficulties going to reduce because of stress? No! So, what is the use of this stress and fear? They are just ruining good things in me and causing damage to my personality. I won’t be stressed. I am not less than anyone and I will try my best for the exam and achieve maximum marks that I can, that’s it!” develop confidence in yourself in this way. If you keep counseling yourself like this, slowly you will get success in overcoming the exam fear.

Get Habituated to Writing

Remember that when you write what you learn, you understand that subject better. Jot down what you understand. If you are not understanding something, try to write it down and experience the miracle, you will understand it! I have experienced it!

If you develop confidence in yourself and keep trying instead of getting depressed and giving up, you will pass the exam decently, and meanwhile you will learn a lot about life, which will be helpful to you in the future for becoming successful.
