Why Teach Your Kids to Tie the Tie
At a job interview, a tie is a standard component of men’s attire. Men who attend business related meetings, conferences, seminars, those expected to dress with class and style wear ties almost every day. For most of them, learning to tie the tie was a daunting task. Therefore, I suggest teaching your kids to tie the tie as soon as possible; they’ll appreciate it.
Nowadays, there are many videos and blog posts on tying the tie that could help you with this task. So, before giving up on learning a new, useful and almost inevitable skill, try to find the online guide that will help you master tying the tie. Recently, I came across the children’s book “Learn to Tie a Tie with the Rabbit and the Fox” and realized it’s fabulous and so educative! Don’t be ashamed to learn from kids’ books, because they are easy to understand and great to pass down to kids or friends with similar problems. This book is also a great gift for boys in the wedding party!
Maybe your son will become a pilot, maybe a hairdresser, but the chances are, at least once in his lifetime he’ll wear a tie. I’ve witnessed a wedding where all the guests were waiting for the groom to come to the ceremony. Why? He didn’t know to tie the tie, he was too proud to ask for help and spent an hour trying to accomplish the mission. Of course, someone helped him and it’s an anecdote everyone, including that groom, laughs about now. But, at that moment, it was rather frustrating – for everyone, especially the bride. Would you like something so embarrassing to happen to you or your kids? I’m sure your answer is negative, thus I strongly recommend “Learn to Tie a Tie with the Rabbit and the Fox” and similar educative books for all the boys and men out there!
